Bush sizes..

Yo,

Are small block bushes for the engine mount brackets (Cambelt side), the same size as big block mounts?

I've just glanced at a very old thread that seemed to suggest that they differ, and that the small block bush was hard to get hold of?


Or am I speaking rubbish?

Reason I ask, is I was going to bastardise my small block mount to graft to the other half of a G40 mount….

I don't want to use the small block mount 'hoop', if bushes are a pain to get hold of… I'd rather get an old gti mount to mess with instead.

This looks like a smaller one.

Don't know about big versus small block, but big block cambelt side is bigger than gearbox side, if you are unaware of that.

Yeah I believe there is something like 74mm for the big block cambelt side, then 64mm for the gearbox?

Anyway, I think I'll get my measuring stick out later and hunt out new bushes for what Brackets I have!
