Bumper clips - the ones that should be on the bumper

So  20 years ago I bought a big bumper kit for my 86 cabriolet.  
Finally got round to fitting it today.   I have the clips on the wings /quarters but I want something to fit to the bumper (it has an appropriate block in the correct location) 

Any ideas welcome - it currently wobbles a lot. 

Like these?  Bolt onto the bumper and slide over the wing mount?  Or a lower, stabiliser bar?
