1983 tintop

Could someone please put me out of my misery and tell what the Bosch part number for the 65A alternator (3 terminal plug) as fitted to an 83 tintop GTI.

I cannot find a replacement alternator for the life of me when searching for the VW part number, so I figure the Bosch one might give me more success.

Thanks

thanks fella.
I'll take a look at those links. I think Ill have to convert the loom over to the bolt on connectors as 3 pin ones are non existent or stupid money.

Ding Ding Ding, Winner Winner Chicken Dinner.

Although if you take your old one to a Automotive Electrical shop they can usually re-build yours relatively cheaper and better than new.

What do Divorces, Great Coffee, and Car Electrics all have in common?

They all start with GOOD Grounds.

Where are my DIY Links?
