Best Fuel Pump for Weber Twin 45s

This topic has probably been flogged to death somewhere but wanted to get some other folks opinions on it. So I have weber twin 45s and looking at supplying the fuel to them.

1) Numerous folks suggest using the stock CIS fuel pump and adding a regulator to bring it down to the 3 or 4 psi for the carbs. Not so sure i like that idea, seems like total overkill having fuel injection pump with high psi and then having to regulate it down. The other question that is raised going this route is fuel flow.

2) Because of fuel flow issues some have suggested the Facet fuel pump and again regulating it down to the required pressure. Obviously Facet is not a fule injection pump so regulating down from the 4.5psi to the 3 or 4 isnt so bad.

3) Other have suggested a low pressure high flow pump good for 3 or 4psi with no regulator.

lastly i dont think the webers need a return line so i presume i can just remove the original return for the CIS and call it good. any suggestions are appreciated. thanks

Facet red or silver top fuel pump with a Malpassi Filter King regulator (or similar). No need for the fuel return line.

I have a KR 16v engine running twin 40 Webers. Was fitted with a Facet cube solid state pump, but suffered from fuel starvation.

I've since bought the silver top competition pump.

Thanks Pistol. Yeah a lot of folks seem to have the facet pumps and a lot seem to complain about them, never had one so i have nothing to gauge that on so appreciate the input. Other have also got the Carter P4070 which i've never used before either. Heard lots of good things about the malpassi filter king regulator though. Thanks for the info on the return line, just pulled all the lines off yesterday so will be putting in a single new line. If you have any suggestions there let me know please.
