BBS with tarox big brake kit

I'm after advise on wheel sizes to buy for my mk1 I have the tarox 6 brake kit on the front n tarox advise 15" wheels minimum, which is my desired size. but I'm wanting to put bbs rm's on it n was wondering is 16" better. Don't want to buy a set of rims that won't fit because of the brakes
