Fueling help
Question is do I need one?
Running 2.0l 16v 9a from a Corrado with CIS-E engine management.
My current setup is:
Polo GTI in tank lift pump > fuel filter > fuel pump (BOSCH 044) > fuel pressure regulator (fpr) > metering head
I'm going to add a swirl pot (part nr. 533201511A) between the fuel filter and fuel pump to alleviate any fuel starvation issues, question is, do I also need to fit an accumulator between the fuel pump and fpr?

I guess the better question is, all those who have 1.8/2.0l 16v, G60 or 1.8t conversions, are you guys running with an accumulator between the fuel pump and metering head?
And if not, do you experience any fuel starvation issues?

If you mean the original accumulator fitted to k-jet cars then i believe it is only a requirement for k-jet...

Not required, I'm running g60.

Where you have mentioned fuel filter this should be the swirl pot (as per part number you mentioned) fuel filter after fuel pump before metering head.

Ah ok, seeing as I'm running CIS-E then I should be ok then.
Mine started out as 1100cc so I never had an accumulator to start with
