1.8t Tachometer Conversion

Hello all, I recently completed a 1.8 turbo conversion in my cabriolet and have been driving around without the tachometer. This has been annoying me so overboard paint converter. I'm pretty sure that the pin is d26 on the ce1 unit but I'm wondering whether I cut that cable and wire directly into the cable that comes out of d26 or splice the cable so that it can be used in the future should I put the car back to him standard. Can anyone points or send a picture of what the d26 wire should look like as I think it is the red with black stripe that is slightly thicker than the others on the white plug but I'm not sure…

Additionally if anyone has a BAM ECU from  a TT could you confirm which pin out or wire is the tacho metre signal. I think it is the green with brown stripe…
