1.8 EX engine code

Can anyone help me find the right service manual? Haynes advised me that they dont have a manual for this engine and i dont know where to look next!

I guess you have a cabriolet?
What year car do you have?

Mk2 Scirocco is the same floor pan, running gear and engine as the Mk1 golf and cabriolet and this manual covers the EX engine.

Morning. We have a 1987 Cabby and  use the Haynes 1224 Scirocco  manual as Mark says.
