1.6D fuel pump leaking

Hi, does anyone have a 1.6D fuel pump for a 1981 golf? I got the car back on the road last month and can't use at the mo

It has done 315,000 miles though so it's done well up to now!

Depends on where it is leaking,  I would suspect that if you removed it and took it to a Diesel injector or Rebuilder, they could rebuild it for you.

If it is usually leaking from around the shaft it requires a re-build.

Not sure exactly where the leak is yet but it has a steady drip from underneath it. I was kinda hoping to pick one up fairly cheap if anyone had an old engine laying around to replace this one at the same time with a view to sending this one off to be rapaired at some point.

Just want to use the car whilst the weather is half decent. Thanks for the info/advice though matey!
