Workshop Space Offered

Hi

I am new here but have been a long time Golf enthusiast/owner, and a member of numerous other forums

I am just about to take occupancy of a large industrial unit to store/work on my projects.

I have at least 2 decent sized workspaces left, that I thought may of been of interest to a like minded enthusiast.

The unit is in Shafton, near Royston, Barnsley South Yorkshire.

How much we talking a month

Looking to be about £125-150 per month

That will include bills etc. 24hr hr access and no working hour restrictions. Includes a bench and storage cupboard. As and when the unit is up and running, (fully subscribed) I will be putting in a 2 post ramp and other larger equipment/tools for members to use.

I hope to reduce rent once full running costs are known and the unit is fully subscribed and equipped.

Kitchenette, w/c and office also in unit

The estate has 24hr security.

Is the price too dear?

Considering what is offered and what will be offered in the future. I Still have to contribute nearly £300 per month to be able to offer the price I have.

I would like your honest opinions

price is fair imo

does this price include any insurance?

Not from the start……… there is a policy included in the lease I pay to the land lord but this is for buildings insurance, whether that would include any 'Contents' I have yet to determine.

A policy for this type of thing is extortionate, and until the unit is up and running I can't afford to get that cover. But it is something I am aware of and is an urgent matter to resolve.

I am not doing this as a business, more as a 'Club' style arrangement

It's a little far for me to travel everytime I wanna work on my car that's the problem for me. The price is fair though from what I've seen aroun.

The bigger unit is no longer available to rent. But I can still accommodate all those already interested, and have s space spare.

Same location etc etc…. Just fewer working areas……

Nice,wish sumone had an offer like that round my way,most units to rent go for loads or they don"t allow you to work on ur car,only for storage,other problem round my way is pikeys nicking everthink they can.

Got the keys on Friday and have pretty much moved in……….

So much to do, organise the spaces, rewire the ring main for more outlets, paint walls and floor etc etc

Seems my cars won't be getting much attention for a while, but I'm sure it will be worth it in the end. Lads are already making use of the space………..

I am no longer looking for anymore members, I have enough for now, but if you're in the need for space in the Barnsley area then please PM me and I'll let you no the space situation.
