Send them the VIN plate and also the chassis No. they will supply a certificate with all the history of yr car…..it costs 25euros….not bad (how much is that?)……where on my 83 GTI would the chassis no be!!!

If you don't want a certificate particularly you can get it on e-mail for free from VW Germany!
