Wiring diagrams?

i know its not a chat issue but can anyone help me locate a decent wiring diagram for a 89/90 digifant mk2 8v gti as the ones in the haynes manuals and others dont include wiring for the ecu etc . After taking my car to be set up again i have been told that the reason my car is way down on power is because ive reached the limit of my k jet set up and really need to start thinking of getting an aftermarket ecu set up which i simply cannot afford at the moment , but in my garage i have a full digifant injection set up but without a wiring diagram i'm abit stuffed , can anyone help ? has anyone done this ? .

Not able to help with the diagram, though the digi lump is an easy fit into a Mk1. Just need a live to the ECU I believe.

You aren't far away, you could give my mate a call if you are stuck…

My car would nt be the way it is today without him!

Here he is LOL…  :o

I'm going to be attempting this swap too in my project car. If you do manage to get the wiring diagrams, could I get a copy please? I'm keeping my eye out for a cheap mk2 bentley manual at the moment, but I'm not sure if such a thing exists! (a cheap one that is).

what exactly do you mean when you say "the limit of my k-jet setup"
are you using the 1.8 dx head on the 2e block? This is supposed to be the best setup for the 2e conversion i think?
sorry guy, met you briefly at the last southwest meet but cant remember

'm going to be attempting this swap too in my wifes car. (Once intraclast has acted as our guniepig). The haynes diagram is not too bad, just forgerts to show you where some of the circuits go…

If you have a Post 82 MK1 and a Pre 90 Digi loom then my understanding is that it should plug straigh into the fuse box….

Cheers fella's - if i cant sort it myself Al then i'll give your mate a call , i do like to try to do it myself - will post the results so everyone who's interested can have a go . I'm using a pb head on the 2e block and the guys at tsr just don't seem to be able to get it to run right , at least if i go digi it will give me abit more scope to improve the running , the only drawback being my engine bay will no longer look original .

LOL - That pic was taken just before it went for it's first MOT after the rebuild, so the paint was fairly fresh and had only seen around 8 road miles to get to Andy's!

You should have seen it two weeks ago before I cleaned it - Very dirty…

Got my car running on the digifant system today , the whole thing is quite straight forward to do you only need to connect 4 wires 3 of which are just ignition fed lives ,looks like you have to use a digifant fuse box though (not really a problem as everything just plugs in the same you just need to add 2 wires to the white plug). Well chuffed sounds sweet too , if anyone needs any info on this just ask . Going to be setting it all up tomorrow night as i run out of light tonight .

I know it's a lot to ask but could you list what you did regarding the wires you added etc, colours, a kind of step by step.

Or did you follow someone's how to/diagrams.
