why do people brake into my van?

Went out to my van today to find to find the rear handle on the floor, luckily remembered to dead lock it so the gits didn't get in. But they did get the builders van behind me and some guys three doors up and that was on the drive. Got done two years ago and glad that didn't get in today, but its still going to cost me about 100 pound to get new handle sorted. Gits!!

They are hoping that you have goodies in there. I'd be tempted to electrify it!!!   :twisted:  :twisted:

Is it the area you are working in?  People have lost jobs etc so not sure but maybe crime is on the increase?  Gutted for you mate they should have their hands chopped off!!!

Tell me about it, was working in thames ditton, a nice area. thought about rigging up a 12v battery to the body before, stop any one in there tracks, lol.

its so annoying….
im an electrician and had my van done about a year ago..

i had my hand tools and testers with me and they took every thing else i owned in my van…

about 2-2.5k worth of tools gone…

luckly my work mates and wholesalers i use all donated me some drills and tools back so at least i could work.

i was so angry for about a month….

these people can instantly stop a man from bringing home the bread and butter..

i thought about wriring up an inverter to the door handles on the back of my van…. like to see the results if it caught someone out haha

They got you bad, sorry to hear that.
i did get done two yaers ago, got away with about 800 quids worth of stuff, luckily i had most of my tools inside with me. Tester aswell, thank god. Had a van vault in that van and they took that aswell, couldnt believe it.

I hope what they say is true. . . . what goes around comes around!

The trouble is……………. it never does!

They do it because they're theiving scum bags!!

Us van drivers are a soft touch "easy cash down the pub" a mate of mine very nearly caught a van thief on a job we were at
he was lucky because we would of super glued his hands around a post and wrote thief on his forehead.

These scum should have no rights at all the world would be a better place without them!!!

i remember my dad telling me years ago his mate kept getting his van broken into so he run brake pipework to the rear door area with a pressurised cylinder and pepper...what a nice surprise for someone...if you done that nowadays i bet you would probably find yourself in court lol
