Which Haynes manual for 88 Mk1 Cabrio?

Hi all,

Apologies if this has been covered before, but i'm not sure what Haynes manual i need for my new (old) Mk1 GTi Cabrio on an F plate.  88 (F) seems to be well into the Mk2 years, but the Cabrio is a Mk1.  The Mk1 Haynes manual doesn't cover the Cabrio…. hmmmm  :?

Any ideas? Do i just run with the Mk1 manual, or is there a specific Cabrio manual?

ive got three for mine
some bits are mk2 some are mk1
ive got the mk2 haynes and thats mostly running gear ,iirc
theres 2 mk1 haynes and only 1 covers the roof etc

eg recently replaced outer cv joints and ordered mk1 bits and they were too small so ended up being mk2

There is no specific Haynes manual for the Cab - as you thought for your car you just go with the Mk2 manual, as it covers pretty much all things mechanical except the roof.

I happen to have one for sale as it goes  :wink:
