Or an Astra GTE?

Ford RS1600i and XR3s seem to have survived better, prob due to larger numbers being sold and the fan base not far off VWs.

I had a Strada years ago, driving like a bloody idiot (as you do when young) I managed to put it on two wheels taking an unexpected sharp bend, blowing both tyres in the process and nearly flipping over, anyway totally knackered the car, didn't last much longer after that.
Me being totally stupid but learning a good lesson about sensible driving.

The strada 130 would be one of the cars in my collection after a lottery win. Those engines were amazing when these were about (pre speed camera days) :o)

Wife, kids, car……not necessarily in that order.

Didn't they used to rust from the inside out.
Engines were rapid though. Put one in a beetle years ago

My Dad had one of the first UK Strada's in 1978, 1500cc Orange 5 door one, engine revved like a motorbike, his party piece was nailing it to 70mph in second gear

Designed by computer silenced by laser and built by robots was the slogan, rusting before they finished building em!
