Only watched it again last night (saw it first time round), but I dont agree with the comments about the mk1 GTI being the first sports hatch, what about the Sunbaem ti, lotus sunbeam, Chevette HS and HSR ???

I know this will open a can of worms but they are definately hot hatches…

They where all rear wheel drive cars and a hot hatch is really a tuned up small FWD car :wink: unless you can think of any RWD hot hatches on the market
