Wheeler Dealers and Drew

Just watched my newly purchased copy of Wheeler Dealers featuring the MK1 Golf gti and who should pop up with their car….none other than 'our' Drew showing his Red GTI (Do you still own this?)

For those that have never seen the series, a bloke purchases a series of different modern classics that all need work and another bloke does them up and they try and sell them for a profit. The programs were shown on Discovery Home and leisure and featured cars such as the Mini, Capri, Porsche 924, saab turbo etc. As far as I'm aware they did 2 series and I thought it was a great little program.

Got my copy off Ebay if anyone's interested.

The new series of this is actually being shown at the moment on Discovery.

The Porsche one made me laugh they swapped a set of BBS for a set of original teledials the guy in teh Porsche breakers nearly snapped his hand off  

Yes, that's me and my Mk1. Still the same car. That was made before my front valence was damaged though.
