What's it worth please?

Hi Folks,
I have someone interested in buying my MK1 1600 GLi Cabriolet. It's a 1980 model, very original with all its old MOTs. the car has 11 months mot and runs very well. The hood is in good condition but could do with two new front wings and the doors replacing. It's done 109000 miles. the tyres are very good and it has a new exhaust. Thanks for your help.

Depending on rust and interior condition & origininality i would go for about ?1,200 if it has minor to no rust and is in good condition. however the fact that it needs two new wings and a new door or two will significantly lower the price you'll get for it if the new owner knows this needs doing.

But i think with a healthy service history and 11 months MOT you should very easily be able to get ?750+ (but then again it is xmas and not everyones got money so u never know..) (also see the price guides on the site)
