what do you think off the f1 result yesterday

yes some off us watched it while you guys were having fun at agm, just wondering if anyone else was discusted at the result have to say i  wonted to turn off off after alonso got the go ahead to overtake, i think the only person who took this seriously so far is ej, i know they got fined $100,000 but whats that to them, all season massa has been mistreated and its plan wrong hopefully alonso breaks his leg and can't race again, never liked the jumped up git

whats your thoughts

nowt changes with f1, team orders always suck for the guy in front, if id been leading and they told me to let my team mate pass the answer would be let him pass if he can. it takes the p@@@ when they play these silly games just because the other guy has won more races doesnt give him the right be put in the lead.

rant over

I watched as well mate, been enjoying the f1 season very much this year, went to Silverstone which was great but this was the lowest point so far for me.the money side is nothing for Ferrari, its like me loosing 10p.I think they should have their points docked for this weekend.I hope we don't see anymore of that,I want to see fair racing not crap like that.I'm sure Massa is delighted in the fact that after is big crash last year, probably is best drive since he is told you are not aloud to fight for the championship. :banghead:

they said well what if alonso needed just 1 point to win tittle this year and they not done this it would be bad etc well my point is what if massa lost the tittle this year by a point and he gave up a win for team m8 how hush is that

What's happened so far is that both Massa and Alonso have given a statement to the FIA (Fernando International Assistance) saying what went on in those events.

From that the FIA (Ferrari International Assistance) will come to a verdict whether the race was fixed enough to be able to cause any great deal of change within the standings (we all know the answer to this)

If the vote is passed then the FIA (Flamin' Imbecile Alliance) will do what they did to McLaren a couple of years back and remove Ferrari's points, possibly Alonso's aswell.

All in all the FIA (Frankly Incredible Audacity) have quite a job on their hands to settle this properly

I LOVE F1. I understand Ferrari, its a team sport, even the drivers champs is team lead (if your not in a good car your not gonna win) BUT it sucks as some of the best moments this year have come from within both Rebull & McLaren, I used to like Alonso, respected him for winning with Renualt but what a baby!!!!!!
Points should be docked!!!

I have the vision, the Mk1 Cab, I have the AEB engine, the 020 Gearbox….. if only i had the knowledge & funds to complete the dream!!!!

cant stand alonso, and i felt for massa, ''massa alonso quicker do you under stand''  3 laps later massa holds bk alonso goes past, and then a massive kick in the teeth ''good boy massa now stick with him….sorry''
basicaly massa now knows hes the number 2 driver, u could tell how gutted he was in the interview after the race! a fine is nothing, points should of been docked! racing is racing so let them race! imo

massa made it pretty obvious to everyone what was going on and fair play to him. his engineer was fuming by all accounts and was pretty pissed to deliver the message to him.
to ferrari, the fine is like buying some new brake discs or something. its nothing. not exactly a deterrant or anything.

(X, like the FIA name changes :P )

Either way this isn't helping the reputation of the sport.

I'm a big fan of the sport but i think it's just so contrived nowadays i just wish i'm old enough to have watched the senna/prost/stewart/villeneuve days.. :|

its cheat and fixing results fullstop, if your not good enough to win then your not got enough simple, plus its a horror to watch, yh it might off been for the good of the team etc but what differance does it make to the team if the points are the same don't matter who's 1st or 2nd in this postion so its a shambles

I didn't watch as on nights but watched and read the aftermath. A few points :

If Alonso was quicker than Massa why didn't he just overtake him??

If it wasn't a team order why did Massa's race engineer apologise??

$100,000 fine is ridiculous

Everyone knows teams act in the interest of the team and sponsors and team orders do exist, however, to 'code' a message to a driver then deny it to the world is worse than giving the order in the first place. It shows a total disregard and lack of respect to fans all over the world. Are Blair and Brown the new Ferrari team principles  :dontknow:

Alonso is nothing but a big paella munching cry baby, if it's not going his way 'beware low flying rattles and toys' coming out of the pram.

Sulked at McLaren, why?? Oh, that'll be because Hamilton's a better driver. The bloke's a tool, would love to see Massa run him off the road in Hungary, that'd make me chuckle

I no longer have the Mk1!! I now whizz round in a Black 1990 3dr Mk2 GTi 8v but the roof doesn't fold back when the sun shines :o

very intresting point above the blokes a tool, i don't think i could word how i feel about the guy different, and to what really gets me like you said when things dont go his way he bullys his way about like at the start of the session jumping massa in the pits nearly taking massa out, and then lagging massa up, his not a team player his a turd and he knows it, when senna done crap like that people worshiped him but from what i know and probly wrong he never done it to his team m8, and again not a fan of him ether i love shoey and i know his a bad boy of f1 but you just can't denie his talent that he had before returning even if his racing was abit risky to others at time cough cough hill

VW AUDI looked at it a few years ago but only in engine wise.

The £100,000 is just the tip as thats the max the stewards could give at the time However the FIA can take points away and do what they did to Mclaren a few years back.

funny how wen shoey over took alonso in monaco this year they soon took that away from him, i reckon they got away with it as nothing has been done yet nor likely now, just another reason to add to the list off why i'm starting to remember why i'd not watch it from quite a few years back till 2008 i only got back into f1 last year becuase of brawn and the story of honda as i always liked button and rubens and when they took the 1st race last year 1-2 i was hooked again but this season has been awful with crap
