What car most/least reliable manufacturers 2010 survey

Interesting reading this.. not read exactly how they base it but its a league table for cars that needed repair… Volkswagen is below Ford!!!  Mercedes, BMW and even Audi are worse!!!  What's happened to the big boys?:-

Yea, Mrs Early has a new Golf so I sometimes frequent a new Golf forum on the 'net.

A while back the stats from MOT failures showed that VW/Golfs were worse than Ford. Pointed out on the forum that in the real world VWs reliability is no better or worse than other mainstream manufacturers and they went apoplectic!

The modern image of VWs uber reliability is built on old Beetles and Golfs.

Having said that Mrs Earlys Golf has been trouble free for 2 years and nearly 50k miles, but so it should be looking at the list price.

Was really surprised even more so that Mercedes was bad!!  German efficiency and reliability doesn't seem true anymore  :dontknow:
