Im getting worked up by this, thread closing.

Why lock them, people have a right to speak.

Always paul too, as i said erlia in that thread he locked.

How can you expect me not to say things like this if you keep insisting to annoy me and others by locking threads etc.

This is getting silly.

No caddys, no streach, no smoothing, nothing thats not vag, no text talk, no swearing or even saying words kids at juniour school use more than us.
Cant say things like this cause itl get locked, deleted or ill get a warning for it, or peopel will at least think im trying to cause trouble.

People keep leaving and its turnign more into somehting that seems like im at school again.

I dont come here to get abuse from people, to get patronised or to not get given my view jsut cause one of the mods on the site disagrees, who sais you get to lock a thread?

When theres no reason to lock one why bother.

I think the mods on here are the ones who cause the problem, even though they make the fourum usefull by adding good information they still add lots of totally bias views and you cant say any thing against them due to the fact the thread will get locked or someoen will send you a message saying chill out etc

Since ive been here ive seen too many threads get locked just to stop views of others being given, with some exeptions i can understand.

Too many threads get moved then you cant find them cause the mod that moved it didnt even bother to tell you.

I got told that i shouldnt birng up things that occur months back, ok, this is a common thing on here that its not ran properly.

Maybe you should have a little less bias towards who the mod should be.

As i get patronised about being a mod once when i wasnt even trying to be one just giving some good information for anyone thinking about it.

Think if you were a little less sappy/girly/lame about evrything then the fourum will get along more, making it a better place to be.

As in, people might get on with eatch toher, instead of the random group of a few people getting along and some not.

Think about it, youve all convinced mullet to do one really as well, hes not exactally asked for any of the greif hes got he might have given some out but tbh the people who he gave it to have given it out enough.

Im not saying im a perfect member as you all know im not and posting this will anger a few of you so i appologise but i would appreciate it if this forum could just get along but work accordingly to hows best for it and best for us so we can get along but get what we need to know out of the forum.



But i supose nore has paul c when i said he does wheat he likes on this forum not caring who thinks what cause he knows hes a mod and has more privalages than others so if any negative views go, hes can either ignore them or patronise you then lock the thread.

Leaving his view being the last on eatch thread etc etc also making eatch thread bias towards certain views.

I have to say membrs like such are premier contabutors to things people ask advice on, like i think your fairly sound plus help out as much as you feel you can, which is good and much appreciated.

But we need people asking for help as well as giving advise, other wise when all you older members who know your stuff leave or die, we need to be here to let tohers know about things weve needed to discover.

And tbh, no ones going to want to search threw thousands of thread, most with bias views.

So lets try making the threads that exist usfull please, to all not jsut yourself.

And how can you moan about the forum working perfectly when half the things on here dont work, search, eatch regional area, and i asume most the links on the left hand side.

If mods make any changes, they should tell the person whos threa it is etc, if they ban you etc, they should also let you know….

PhillTMk1GTI has been tasked to assist the regions who don't have an info page on the left hand side, to load one up. I locked the previous thread becuase its discussion had diverged into many smaller topics; and suggested start new threads if needs be. This way, the discussion is more directed and people can focus their views better. I shall give him a nudge now.

FTJ - one of the deciding factors was that you, by your own admission, had not read the thread but wanted to post in it - I don't see how you can make considered views if you don't read the previous posts?

All moderators can lock threads but I will often be the public-facing person who makes the official statement, etc due to my also being an elected committee member etc.

The committee don't run the regional meets or update the regional pages - this is devolved to the regions and we rely on a volunteer who comes forwards for each region. I am aware that our coverage is not 100% but this is a reflection of the breadth & depth of existing meets. If there are NE regional meets and someone wants to come forwards to be able to update the page, let me know. Meantime, tidying up the left hand side Regions pages is on the list of "things to do".

Interesting question - I can do a bit of a search based on paid/signed up members, and give summarised info.

Your fully usless mate, look im sorry but all youve done is say how youve done this ive done that and your doing this.

Try making this place better ffs, and i dont mean more offical, strickter and mroe rules.

Maybe make here a bit mroe relaxed if you know what i mean.

why dont you jsut agree and then maybe the whole lot of us can get along its all these petty things that make evryone get fed up etc.

Mods do this, mods do that, mods dont do this, mods dont do that other wise eatch region would have stuff to say, things to do, meets to go too.

IMHO most people use the "View posts since last visit" feature, there is also the "View unanswered posts" feature, so the actual forum its posted in isn't too important and shouldn't be a barrier to people finding it. Also, if people are seeking regional meets, they would look in the relevant area, and probably scroll through a couple of pages of threads too. On the above views, it shows how many people have read each thread but it won't show how many people click into each forum itself, so I wouldn't know which proportion take this route in either.

ftj ive read what you have said and i think some things are right and some are wrong pm paul if you have a problem with him dont do the bitching on the forum as that makes what you want to happen a joke . Thats why threads get locked tbh

i think this is the problem with there not being a ne meet. it's easy to arrange and report on meets that people will automatically turn up to. if you really want a ne meet, then i would assume that you need to persivere with it, even if it means turning up on your own for a couple of months. stick with it and put the effort in, then i'm sure you'll achieve what you're after. you can always make the floppy topped pretenders park 1/2 a mile down the road and walk up.
