Underseat subwoofers, how are they?

I want some more bass in my cabby. Actually I have no sound in my stereo at all atm, so I need to get some. Then I came across this, but I've never actually witnessed it myself. I want to keep as much room in the boot as possible. So I don't want to put a huge subwoofer in there. Have anyone out there tried this? How is it? I don't need insane bass, I just want to be able to feel it more than with regular speakers.

I'm Norwegian, so my English isn't the best!

Try it and find out, though i cant imagine there would be enough room under the seat.

no, not yet - I upgraded the speakers in the front doors, and then I got distracted with a campervan project :)

Here's my original thread which had some useful comments…

I hope this helps.

I don't think I could cope with an underseat subwoofer. You'd be hitting the brown note all the time and have to check your pants regulary.
