turntable

well i did it,went out and brought a new turntable,no not ipod or mp3 player,a proper music player to play my vinyl collection of late sixtys and early seventies reggae  8)  i had the usb project debut 3 so i can upload it all to the puter and put it on disc to annoy the mrs in the car  :mrgreen:

still got my dads pioneer deck from the 70's and it still gets used.
fully floating deck and isolated needle arm. needs a new needle though starting to sound abit off. run though the amp and linked to the computer for all thoughs load music and mp3 needs.

im the proud owner of 6 turntables, some 1200 aniversery blue and golds (never used them came with a set of headphones and a mixer, all in matching panasonic blue and chav gold) some soundlabs im using to teach my missus how to dj (but she only likes bob dylan on vinyl… cant win) and some kams… they are my daily users, they are ok, but i cant afford another set of 1210's as daily's… dammed miss that spin up speed… really do.

edit: id like to take this point to say im a qualified audio engineer, and this is a collection its taken 15 years to build, and, a bit like i am with my car, i wont throw something away because something better comes along.

you mean a set of decks? bit old school for dj'n aint it bert everyone just has a loaded laptop nower days dont they?

got some vinyl kicking about if you want to buy club tunes from last 10 yrs

I used to have a Rega Planner 3, my brother has a Lynn Sondeck

I'm fancying a pair of 1210's but we'll see if I don't end up spending all my money on the Mk1 - lol
