I used to own a mk1 - well I've had 2 actually - YDU 720X & SMU 420Y. Currently I drive an 98 Scotia White Mitsubishi Evolution V RS…. fancy getting another mk1 someday :D

At ?400.00 it looks like a deal. And seeing as the seller has included some good clear photos, including the problem areas, I'd probably say that he/she was pretty genuine and not trying to hide anything.

You thinking of making an offer?

Would love to Grant, however 1 golf project is enough for me at the moment! Time, space and funds prvent me from adopting her

Looks like a good little project for someone.  4 months ago I would have jumped at this.

I think if i where to take another project on it would be a "play golf".
A sunroofless shell with the intention of tricking it out for track days. I would love to make a lightweight MK1 with twin Busa engine conversion!!!

Well I can dream……

Yeah, I'd buy it if A) I didn't already have a nice little Lhasa Green Campaign    and B) If I had the slightest clue on how to fix the bodywork up! Not exactly the most car savvy person

Still, I'm buying the odd new part here and there to make my campaign look better (new bumpers, arches, grille trim set, etc. etc.).
