He's missed the decimal point in the price! (I've corrected it for him above…)

I wonder what his real price is though?

I checked on www.autotrader.co.uk and there are 9 of them for sale in the whole of the UK, ranging from ?995 (on 29k on the clock) down to ?199 (and even that one has an MOT, FSH, and only 45k miles!)

I wonder if there's a forum for metro owners with Goldy Brown been a popular colour? Do you think they'll ever start goin up in value, if ever other than that one which is an obviously a typing error?
I use to make them engines many years ago when I lived in Dudley so I'm surprised there's any left still running   .

DjEv, did you make any BL Friday Specials? . Seriously, though if anyone is interested in history of BMC, Austin, BL, Rover, Triumph e.t.c this is very good site http://austin-rover.co.uk/ . Usually starts 2nd or 3rd time :D .

Cheers

I can remember workin on a thurs nite and was strugglin to keep up with the track to put these bits on so u just left them out, No-one was bothered and I was knackered. You could get up to 30% discount on a car but no-one had one. What does that say about the company you work for?

God, 30% a lot off a new car - think that says it all 8O . What was the problem with the track… not the right parts, moving to fast?

Most of the time I woz too drunk,or tired, or couldn't be arsed to keep up with the production line. I was in my late teens earning good money in a very dirty factory. It didnt last long
