8O ?580 8O
Somebody has spent ?580 on some extruded bits of metal with plastic end caps! For another ?20 you could have done what Nody did and snap up a campaign (jammy git)!
Is the world going mad?
I used to own a mk1 - well I've had 2 actually - YDU 720X & SMU 420Y. Currently I drive an 98 Scotia White Mitsubishi Evolution V RS…. fancy getting another mk1 someday

Imagine when all the pattern chrome bumpes come out you would be gutted if you forked out that much just to be hip at the shows.
I'm sticking with plastics! Chrome would look naff on a series 2 anyway.
Take a look at other classics erm… the MGB for example the plastic bumpers are more expensive than the chrome bumpers to buy now!
Hang on to your plastic nudgers they'll be the next craze.

Only because I have the molds made for the end caps and a few sets being knocked up as I speak, and am working on the molds for carbon bumpers
Metal bumpers - pah (but if I can find a few cheap sets, I'd still have em for stock  )

Think of a price what you would pay for them, then times it by 5 and bobs your uncle you have a RRP!

Sorry AL_Mk1 maybe I'm wrong about small chrome on a series 2. I like the look of your mk1. I take it back.
You did well for ?130!
LOL - thats ok mate, just playin'!
I didn't think they would look right with the big lights at first, but I think it has more to do with the overall styling!
