Haha get this, i have the number plate "PYU 99Y" (Pussy)..

and my mate comes round and points out that my exhaust has something written on it..

LOL its engraved with the words "Muff - Diver" LOL ironic eh?

anyway.. i did a search on google and the only one thing i can find is this:

cat back s/s to a CCR back box with a 4'' inch tail pipe with ''MUFF DIVER'' engraved on the upper side

strange eh!? wondering if anyone can find some details on this for me?

I fail to see how the number plate and exhaust being named like that are a amusing but whatever  :dontknow:

I didn't say it was amusing, i just thought it was a rather strange thing to find engraved on an exhaust.

Thats all.. bloody hell everyone is so serious on this forum..

I would love a "Muff Diver" exhaust.

All depends on sense of humour and personailty (sp) on to what others find funny/dislike etc.

My favour number i saw , was on a porsche and it read Nob her  8)

knew of a guy with a  new beetle with the reg PU51 RUB

the 'muff diver' was a custom chrome special it stands for: decibel inversion via exhaust refraction, i.e its got a different shaped internals to produce the noise
