Not going to tell you the winner but i will wait till someone posts it, any other suggestions other than the one im thinking of will come 2nd without a doubt. as when i hear the winner I get goose pimples...

Is it some kind of survey, or an article or poll somewhere else, or a magazine or online site article? Are we talking simply the engine configuration, or a specific car?

I think there was an article a few years ago and a Ferrari, think it was 250GTO or something, won it.

If its a personal opinion, then a V8 top fueller has my vote, but then you don't just hear them, its more of a feeling too…

I said engine Full Stop this I must admit this is self indulgent but like i said the sound of this engine gives me goose bumps every time i hear it.

the best engine id ever heard was a mustang mach 1 that pulled up to the next pump to mine at the petrol station one day! thats one VERY nice car!!
