Surfaced from garage

Hi peoples just thought i'd keep you up to date with my resto , loads of pics but limited time means i'll get e'm on when i can . Here are a few more pictures to keep you going and just in case you think that maybe ive got abit carried away beware of what can happen in an empty garage whilst you await the collection date for your car .

Few resto'd bits waiting to be refitted .

One at said sprayshop just out of shot is me strangling steve the spray for taking too long .

And finally back and on my drive (sat before Gaydon meet )

I'm very impressed with the paint job although i couldent afford to get the engine bay done too so ive just cleaned it and tarted it up a bit spose i could always get it done later .Still hoping to get it to germany in oct but there's a few late nights ahead . Mungo go to garage now .

Paint was 850 and all those parts are original bits with new seals and rubbers from Vag with the exception of the rad and cooling fan . Made myself a gunk tank out of a plastic storage box with a lid and loads of white spirit left bits in it over night then removed dryed sanded primered and top coated using rattle cans . Don't think i'd do it again though.
