sump guard for mk1 golf cabrio

Hey everybody, i've recently registered to this site and hope that someone can help me. I own a mk1 golf cabrio and it is fully slammed but I go through so many sumps its not funny. I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get hold of a sump guard so that i can drive around with car slammed all the time, otherwise i will have to save up for some air ride! if anyone can help that would be cool. cheers :dontknow:

I've got to get one made for mine as it's going road rallying later this year. The sheet of material is enough to do at least 2 if you're interested in the unused half.

I'm going to use 8 or 10mm Aluminium as per a works Nova. I don't think I'll need any bracing ;-) Just need some mounts dropping down from the front engine mount and the bumper mounts and then using the rear wishbone mounts at the back. 1000mm x 700mm. Won't be the lightest thing going, but I won't be stopping for boulders or treestumps
