stolen car!!!

hi everyone last saturday my project was stolen in the night and i was wondering if everyone could keep a look out for it although its probably being stripped for parts. the details are reg: rgd209w it is shwartz black 1.6 gti and it was stolen from near newton abbot in devon.

Not another project stolen!!! The amount of chav scum out there is unbelievable!!! I hope it turns up unharmed.

I'll keep an eye out in North Devon for you. Was it drivable or did it need trailering? Any distinguishable features?

all the doors were locked it had no brakes there was no petrol in the tank and the steering wheel lock was on so it must have been trailered away. it also had rust around the fuel cap wich was covered in black tape there is more black tape along the front edge of the bonnet and the bottom of the boot lid has black tape along it also the rear left arch has some black tape on it.

Thieving scum!!!!!!! Was it insured? That would be my worst nightmare with mine. I had a few bits nicked off my last MK1 while I was getting it running and that made me furious. Hope you get it back or at least find the people who took it :evil:

There is a black MK1 Campaign that lives on the Totnes Road just a little way from what used to be the Volvo garage in Newton Abbot. Don't know if it's for sale but it may be worth leaving a note. I only sold my last one because someone kept leaving notes on it!!
