ET45 is more like a Vauxhall offset. May have probs with catching suspension/inner arches if fitted on a lowered Golf (?)
I've got a set of 15's in ET38  8)

I've just checked mine and it is also ET 38 (full serial 5.5j X H2 ET 38 )

He also said that only 4 sets of 15" p slots that he knows of are in the UK, I've got 2 sets (well actually I scrapped 2 wheels because they were very badly buckled, so I now have 1.5 sets). You have a set, so all 4 sets are accounted for.

I thought that P slots were unique to VWs, maybe I'm wrong.

I believe Ronal sold their versions as 'aftermarket' alloys in 1983. If you really search round your rims you may find the date stamp. Mine have 83 on them.
Likely they did popular German fitments - VW Golf and Vauxall Astra (Opel Kadett). ET38 for the Golf and ET45 for the Kadett (guessing here !)
Probably not that popular as being Ronal they would be expensive, and most people would prob just find a much cheaper set of used 14's for similar look. Besides, loads of funky alloys to choose from at that time - Zender Turbo, Ronal Turbo, RH Classic, BBS RS, ATS Cup, etc, etc, etc, and all in a beefier 7x15 size too (!)
PS - sell me one of your spare alloys so I can show it off in the boot !  (I would have had one of your curbed ones …)
Mark.

You don't need to show off a 15" p slot in the boot, I don't have one on show in the boot.  If you do heavily buckle a wheel I would sell you one.

To be honest I don't want to part with them at any price, to me they are priceless, you know what I'm talking about.

cheers

Like m6m62 has stated, the wheels are not ET38 (mine are also ET38) so caution should be applied imo, they may not fit! It gives us a good idea of what the 15" Ps are worth on the open market
