How can I find Mk1 Specialists around the NW London area??

Ha HA! I've kept my eyes open (i think) but never found one. I've ended up doing most work myself, a lot of fun and most of it hasn't been too difficult   but could really do with decent body shop?? Come on you other N.londoners, any ideas? :?

There are some meets in n.london, check out the regional meet section, then come along  

blackie the mechanic next door to me is alright and his friend is prob the only man id let near my car with a spray gun! if u ever pop in have a look at his mk4 gof and see the job on that!

Not specific to Mk1s and not wanting to sound "club gti" like, but there is quite a few Vw modifiers around london way that might be able to advise you (for example Voodoo).  Im based in Bournemouth and dont actually own a Mk 1 at the mo (might change tomorow tho!!) but ive heard good things about them.  Also, if you are willing to travel, wagenwheels in southampton seem quite a reputable Mk1 dealer who might be able to help, or Creative Colour Workshop in Bournemouth.

Need to get it resprayed and a few rust spots sorted urgently (well as soon as I get some dollar).  How much do you think I'd be looking at??  Also how long does this normally take to strip it completely and do a decent job??
