special edition mk2 golf?

Yes i know its a mk1 forum but someone on here might be able to help.

I just brought a mk2 golf with recaro interior and walnut dash? there was a company that did conversions in the 80/90s anyone know there name?

There was a Fire and Ice - that had Recaro - not sure it was wood though!! C'mon get some pics up……

I don't think Fire and Ice came with recaro's but it would be hard to identify one with horrible seats like they had!

Nope,fire+ice didnt,only one that had Recaros as standard was Edition One G60 and Edition One 16v.Fire+ice had a horrible pink+purple interior with black bolsters with half moon/half sun symbol in the middle!

They were not just only available in 5dr,most were 3dr!

The company that did the walnut bits could be called Votex,they did quite a few odd bits for the mk2,they did an electric sunroof conv and the motor mech is covered in a horrible walnut thing,if the golf has one of these then its a little goldmine,ive seen them sell for £500 for the sunroof mech!
