Some Learning

Just wondering if anyone knew of any good books, or websites that are good for car fundamentals. I know a bit about cars but want to know more, whats what, what it does and why its there etc.

Then maybe I get another mk1 and restore it myself

I had a look years ago at wankel engines as I knew the principles, I just couldn't picture it in my head. This site explained it and had animated diagrams of the internals.
