Show us your tattoo!!

Been watching LA Ink a lot lately and never been a fan of tattoos… always said I'd never have one…. but… they've come a long way.  Kat Von Dee is amazing at portraits… no idea how much it would cost but I'd love something of my dad.  He's a big influence in my life and does a lot for our family… although he doesn't want to admit it he is getting older.  His portrait and something of my kids when I have some is probably all that would take me into the world of tattoo but interested to see what people have…. post up.

ive got one of a dragon start at my shoulder and runs down my arm and finishes half way down my forearm isnt finsihed yet cuz i want to be a traditional japenese one with flowers n stuff, ill try n put a pic on here so u ca see wen i get chance, i  got it cuz i think dragons look so cool as a tatoo and plus i was born in the year of the dragon so that was another excuse , portraits are good man but u need to get a good tattooist to do it cuz they are proper hard to do

Augh mate would love to see a pic!!!!  The portraits are mental… she does them really life like so would only go to her in LA… excuse for a trip away too  :mrgreen:

What made you decide… "right that's it" and actually go for it?  how long are your sittings and how many sittings do you think you have left?

i got old school crap all down both arms and on hands, naked lady on my leg, full tribal across shoulder blades with an angel down my spine and a bulls head tattoo'ed across my nipple which is pierced so it looks like a ring through the bulls nose

yeah mate that took 10 hours to do that, its been goin on since i was 18 n im 22 now lol ive got others aswell but that one is my favourite, ive even done a few myself on my legs, get a tattoo kit last summer n was messing about trying to draw stars n stuff, u wudnt beleive how hard it is just to do a star lol

heres mine, got it for my late friend who died 2 years ago, but its also for my fav band alter bridge =]

No tattoos myself but I dont mind a bit of artwork

My friend just had to sack the new driver at her firm coz he had tattoos down both arms and neck.
The 5 star hotels he was delivering to told her not to send him again,so goodbye!

Love when tattoo's have stories behind them and although sad mate I'm sure he would of been proud that you thought so much of him!!!

yeh it means a lot to me =] glad that one has a story because i have another one on my leg which is just a lil crappy fish lol, no idea why i got it

All tattoos should have a special meaning. If they mean something to you, you'll love them forever.

yes mate thats it, all my tatoos have a meaning behind them thats why i love them so much, they dnt have to all have a meanin behind them as long as the artwork is mint
