Hi Chris.

hmm its a hard one, especially with summer just around the corner, and im never good at pricing cars

i would prob say the following

wait till sun comes out then put signs in windows etc, more likely to get the best money for it then

It does look tidy, but there are some cheap cars out there at mo, with lower mileage, i dunno if 2k is a little high bud …. (even considering the recent ish respray)

you would more then likely get more money for it px at a dealer if your good at standing your ground and telling them how much they HAVE to give you for it, to do a deal on the car they have

and finally ..

just dont bother selling it! summers nearly here and you will only miss it  :D

Looks lovely!

Don't sell it yet. Wait until May.

And don't move on the price. There are clippers out there for a grand; they're also probably hiding needing about that again in work. A new roof, particularly if your back window surround is mint, is worth £500 of expenditure to someone; good paint is worth it, your interior looks clean. I valued my Clipper at £1500 when I got it and it's needing a new roof, the gearbox failed and the interior needs work. I could easily sink a grand into getting it right.

Wait until summer, ask £2K, and advertise it well (without the all-caps, for example).

You may get "allowed" £2K at a dealer, but what matters is "cost to change". You'll find that a dealer is going to allow you £500-750 on that car in real terms.

understand what your sayin richyhill there are some cheap lookin cabs around but as richardkc6 said they will more than likely need some decent money spending on them, sometimes paying less for a car that looks ok is false economy, done it myself in the past tryin so save a bit but ended up out of pocket! havin lots of little jobs done and buying bits and bats mounts up! i reckon i've got this one to a good standard and there arent any issues with leaks or rust and i drive to work every now and again 100 mile round trip and it never misses a beat!
like i say just testing he water with it and would like to get a bit of enjoyment out of it seeing as i've done all the hard work over winter! but if the right money or p/x is offered then it will go!
hopefully we will get a summer this year kavlfc!!

History says a good summer follows a cold winter so I've got everything crossed that continues
