Selling- how much is it worth?

Hi, I have a mk 1 clipper cabrio automatic which has fairly low mileage 61,000. its in practically perfect condition. The unusual thing about it is that it has factory fitted from brand new power assisted steering. Thinking of selling can anyone give me an idea of how much I should ask for it?

my old man always says anything is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it
pics willl help ppl decide and also any history you have for the car to prove mileage etc.

Will try to put some pics on tomorrow, have every MOT cert since it was brand new so can prove mileage. Has anyone heard of others with original power steering ?

To my knowledge, no RHD cabriolets had power steering fitted from the factory, it must be a modification from somewhere.

The uk importers did a few, apprently using Nissian bluebird racks. So not strictly speaking factory but almost.

oh and depending on age, spec, condition and history (leather interior?, power hood?, 1 owner?, all MOTs to prove milage etc etc) anything between ?1000-?5000.

remember practically every other cabriolet (escorts, MX5, 206CCs etc etc) have PAS so only worth extra ? to someone with their heart set on a VW Golf
