what does the little picture on your posts represent? ive seen it on some old mk1's but never been able to find out what is is supposed to be or where it comes from, the doggy picture.

Yes, he occasionally posts on here, lovely cars too, not often seen out nowadays though, his 1600 in particular. Loads of mk1 info there though, and he is the only person I know who has owned a Mk1 from new and then 20 years later owned the same car again!

Many of the the non-GTI mk1s had this 'little doggie' in the middle of the steering wheel.
