restoration advice

just started a restoration job on a mk 1 golf gti campaign was wondering if anyone would be able to recommend the best place for spares?

it all depends what your after and what condition, there's still loads of parts available from VW but not always the cheapest.. here is a very good source for second hand parts (Crazyquiff,Turbtechnics on here to name a couple, each have they're own web site listing what they can do or have).. also there's the mk1 owners meet this sunday at Gaydon! get down there as people will be selling parts!
