Resprays

Can anyone recommend a good sprayer in the East Midlands area?
My campaign now needs respray and I don't want to trust it to anyone.

my advice is to go to a bodyshop that has been recommended by a number of people and don,'t just look in your own back yard look further afield even if it means travelling a fair distance, it will be worth it in the long term

thanx alex, any ideas about cost? It's not in bad nick, but it's lost its shine on top in front of sun roof and on one of its front wings.Cheers.

Had mine done 6 months ago and cost just short of ?2k, The car was in v. good condition with minor rust around window rubbers starting to show. Other than minor paint chips and some paint dulling on the front wing the rest was sound. I used a local guy, a VW nut himself and learnt his trade from his dad who also ran a local spray shop before he retired.

1k for a full respray is very much on the low side.

I'm expecting mine to be done for under ?500 but im supplying the paint and it is a bare bodyshell with no engine or wiring loom. The guy doing it is the best in the area

Damn , I,ll just have to find me a lady sprayer… anyone know of a good one? Hope my wife doesn't mind!!
