Powder coated!!

Hi All
I know I'm showing my ignorance but what is 'powder Coated' there is a few items on Ebay….just thought I'd ask!!

Hi TC -Powder coating is where the metal is usually stripped back to bare - then given an electic negative grounding and sprayed with a positive charged powder that then sticks to this. It is then baked and the powder melts leaving a nice tough shiny finish rather like enamel.

Powder Coating is very tough and a pretty good finnish, dont pay silly prices for stuff on Ebay thats been powder coated as its pretty cheap to have done (like ?15 for a full roll cage in black for example) so its not like chroming etc which is uber expensive.
