polo pedal plate

hey i have a 2001 polo and i just replaced the clutch and after i put it all back together and now the clutch will go down but not come back up and checked the backing plate and its snapped where the pedal is and i call it a pedal plate but can't find anything about them on the internet and was just wondering if anyone knew where to look or the real name or was selling one thanks
