Phew...

Folks,

Apologies for the lack of updates (admin screens etc) on the site in the last couple of weeks. My day job has gone a bit manic for the festive season and I'm currently working 12 hours days, not including 3 hours travelling, which leaves little energy or time for the website.

I'm planning to get the basic functionality working asap, but would be interested if there are any other folks out there who are reasonably skilled at php and mysql work (you need to be able to write scripts to connect to db's, extract, update and format data for the web etc). I'd like to enhance the functionality so the owners of the registers can start tidying them up and maintaining them properly. Web meisters please apply!

I'm also looking at ways of getting the moderators to answer some of the 'help I can't register' questions. At the moment this is a bit tricky as it involves logging directly into mysql to check the state of the db (!). If any of the mods are willing to learn how to do this, let me know too!

So, we'll get there, but there is still quite a lot to do, so please bear with me as it may take a bit of time to sort out.

Cheers,

Drew.

Drew,

Happy to help with the registration issues and whilst not used mySQL, am familiar with SQLServer / Sybase DB's and writing queries.

Again on the PHP front, not much direct experience, but I'm sure my Java / JSP / HTML experience would stand me in good stead

PM me if there is anything in particular you think I can help with!

Cheers,

Chris
