When my girlfreind asked me wat i want for xmas without hesitation i said ....parts for my golf. Do u knw wat her answer was ? get lost. What a cheek shes only jealous cause i spend mre money on the golf than i do her !!

That is gud thinkin i can say put the money into my paypal for sumat in the sales...... mk1 golf sales !!

I've asked for a short sill repair, b-pillar repair section, inner, outer & sill strengthener, new cargo floor, new cab step and lower dog leg, 3" front panel repair section, inner & outer front valance, jacking points & out riggers, bulk head repair section and I'm sure there was some other metal work but can't remember.  8O

Oh, and paint, L512, L289 and L82.  :wink:

I wudnt mind all i asked for was a magic tree and sum fluffy dice !!!

I have asked santa for  my two offside  wheels to be refurbed

The best I can hope for is a club grill badge but since she saw my earlier post on this so I'm not holding out much hope!
Although I would like one and will get one if she doesn't.

She however wants a darn iPad with me paying for the hardware and the 3G contract.

Just think on the number parts and extras I could get for the amount of money for my Golf?
My word I could buy one if not two more MK1's for that money.

Well, if you have a Cabby like me then she says, "Oh put the top up, I don't like my hair being blown around, I just washed it".

To keep the X-Mas theme going.
I'll buy my Wife a large brown paper bag (goes with her eyes). She can wear that.
It might rustle a little till I get over 50mph but then It's just another wooshing sound around me!

Oh that's easy! The Golf!

Much more reliable, bodywork needs less attention and it's a lot more handsome!  

I think I'll ask for next years AGM tickets - I've missed the last two years but hopefully mine will be fully restored by then.

Kate asked me again wat i want for xmas so i thought i wud try it again and i said a headlining with fitting.kate replied with a straight ok then. Shocked as i was i said u do know thats £300. As u may well guess i am now bak to the drawing board !
