Well i operate 200 machines at a haven called church farm but also operate 200 machines in smaller parks around the south coast i get paid lots and do a good job thats why i have the time to be on here all the time apart from managing the buisness i repair and refurb fruit machines and videos cos i can :wink:

position/what i do: i monitor and maintain the largest IT Infrastructure to ever be built or attempted to be built, with 420,000 users, i maintain operational security and infrastructure stability, as well as updates and all the stuff usual sys admins do… lets say im a bit busy, i do alot more but cant tell you about that!

Sideline - Wedding photography - none of these namby pamby formal photo's tho, just me and a decent camera for the day, all pictures taken on digital and then a copy of disc supplied for the happy couple to print etc on their own for a very reasonable price…

what do you do
oil and gas safety critical analysis for on and offshore facilities.
i tell big oil barons how many people they will kill and how many toxic gas releases they will have and if its a good idea. then watch them go ahead and pull very toxic oil from the ground.
before that i was a design engineer for Aker Kvearner designing oil refinery's, nuclear decomissioning sites and chemical sites.

probably a stressful job that, whats the pay like?

What you mean you guys get payed too, my payment is the missus letting me play with my cars one afternoon a month if shes not at work (thats why none of them are on the road yet)

a lot of my time is spent training/helping other people. as soon as i sit down it's "john, can you come and have a look at this for me". so i get naff all work done in a day, as i seem to spend all day doing other peoples' work at their computers.

What do you do We install mini piles into the ground where the ground is crap for building on we generally drive steel tubular piles into the ground to depths of 35 feet below ground level,
I'm also a site investigator and advise builders and engineers on sub-soil conditions.

i love polishing the concrete to a morror finish cause when they get there forlifts on it with wet tyres they have no grip muhahahaha

Job Role Answering emergency calls, picking up drunks, getting abused by the public, Pursuits (or "follows" as they like to call them now :roll: , fishing cadavas out of rivers, looking for missing people, getting spat at, helping little old ladies cross the street, sitting around all day eating donuts and coffee, being threatened with blood filled syringes by drugged up mentalists, being threatened to be stabbed, having rocks thrown at, being expected to know the solution to everyones gripes, being assaulted by violent people who dont want to be arrested, storming houses, using "the big red key"  getting paid no where near enough money for the grief you have to put up with! and having to complete an unreasonable amount of paperwork just to get someone to court only to be called a "liar" when you get there! apart from that its great

as you can tell some of those are cynical and stereo typical things i put in to save anyone else the bother
