Has anybody got any good recommendations for a good quality cover for my mk1. loads on ebay but don't know what quality they are.

Got a moltex cover for Christmas.

Again, not cheap at about £150 but great reviews.

Not had it out the packaging yet as my car is still in pieces I'm affraid!

I'll try to give it a test and take some pics over the next couple of days for you.

Another thing is how soft is the inner lining (the part that will come in contact with the paintwork)

I had a fleece lined cover on my mk1 can't remember the make but it left the (white) paintwork with little marks here and there a bit like pencil which did come off with a bit of a rub.

The cover cost over £100 about 6 years ago it was a breathable one but not sure how well it worked  :dontknow: opted for a car port in the end.

Ohh, they sound good at those prices!

my car is not restored yet and that money would help, I think ill get a cheaper one for now to protect on lookers from the work in progress!
