original factory option.

hello, i have just bought yet another mk1 gti, looking through the paperwork i have found the original bill of sale. ?6495.26. aswell as mudflaps and mats the owner also paid ?75 for driving light kit. what is this ? i have noticed some unusual relay holders near the battery. and there are no lights or indicaters working ? reg no. SMR978Y  if anyone knows the car, been around taunton , bristol most of its life.

I'd say that was the twin light grille option. Nice to have some original paperwork with it

loads of history, some from a mr tim stiles, some from brm motorsport and even some foreign service bills, norway and germany. but still completey standard all but 4branch manifold. warren king  warminster were vw dealership if they are still going?

The lights, mats and flaps were dealer fit accessory, not an option.
