I'm off for a week will be on the prowl for any mk1 action and will be snapping away, it drives the Mrs mad pulling over to take a pic of another mk1.

I've just returned from Cornwall, we stayed in Hayle, it's such a freindly little place, we vistited St Ives, Lands End , and Penzance (St Micheals Mount)

Drove the scenic route to Lands End on Saturday what a fantastic drive along the coast line, but only spotted one Mk1 Gti which sat behind a garage in St Just, which had a few classics for sale, it looked like it was just dumped there?

I was gonna ask about it but I figured I'm holiday how could I possibly get it home from there?

Wish I asked about it now  

from the pics it looks too clean to have been put there and forgotten about. maybe the garage owners parked out of harms way?

Dude we went there on Sat night! you had the dude on the bongo's, its defo the coolest place in Hayle??? :wink:
We had your nachos and wedges and sat near the back door, I think it was someones birthday?

We went to the Bucket of Blood pub earlier which was a bit too touristy?? maybe coz we are from London, but the old american couple were making me feel well weird??? :dontknow:

I'm sure I see your cabrio parked near by or driving past me on the weekend???

We were staying in the sandbanks in a little beach hut near the havens!!

Unfortunatley I did'nt have my Mk1 Gti as we took the bikes :wink:

Sound, Glad you liked fella. It was a bit quiet now all the torists have gone. But always good fun. You should have hung around and seen the state the birthday party got into. There was dancin and everything.
