Newbie in Colchester. Anyone local?

Hi,

just bought a Silver 1981 1.6 5 speed Golf Gti (will ad some pictures soon). It's sooo much fun!

It's in really good condition (i think!) and my plan is to get it close to original as poss so if anyone local wants to have a look and give me some tips that would be great

I believe it has adjustable suspension but other than that it appears original. It's had a respray and interior retrimmed at some point.
